Searching for the man accused of fraudulently selling land in Phu Quoc

On the morning of August 15, the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Province Police announced that it had just issued a decision to search for Le Van Mot, born in 1978, residing in Cua Can Commune, Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province (now Phu Quoc Special Zone, An Giang Province) to serve the work of handling reports of crimes of fraud and property appropriation.

Previously, Mr. NVL (born in 1984, residing in Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang province) went to the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Provincial Police to denounce Le Van Mot for fraud and property appropriation.

Through verifying the content of the denunciation, it was determined that in 2009, Mot sold to Mr. L a plot of land with an area of ^{​​7,000m2} in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province (now Phu Quoc Special Zone, An Giang Province) by hand-written document for 4 billion VND.

In 2019, Mot continued to sell to Mr. NVC (born in 1982, residing in Hanoi ) a plot of land with an area of ^{​​9,314.88m2} , with the same plot number and handwritten map sheet number for 9.3 billion VND. Mr. L said that the plot of land that Mot sold to Mr. C. covered the plot of land that Mot sold to Mr. L.

To serve the work of handling crime reports, the An Giang Provincial Police Investigation Agency requests that individuals, agencies, and organizations that know where Mot is, immediately notify the An Giang Provincial Police Investigation Agency (through the Office of the Investigation Police Agency, address 507 Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, Rach Gia Ward, An Giang Province) or the nearest police agency.
