The Ngo boat race takes place on November 5-6, 2025 at the grandstand on the bank of Cai Lon river, Go Quao commune ( An Giang province).
The 17th Khmer Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival in An Giang Province in 2025 includes a ceremony and a festival. The ceremony includes the following activities: Opening ceremony at 7:30 a.m. on November 5, 2025; Moon worship ceremony on the evening of November 5, 2025; Ngo boat racing competition taking place on November 5-6, 2025. The activities take place at the grandstand on the bank of Cai Lon River, Go Quao Commune, An Giang Province.
The festival includes activities: Displaying images and artifacts of Khmer people; exhibitions and book displays; trade fairs and introductions of local products.
At the festival, there will be cultural and artistic activities, including: Competition to make beautiful water-water trellis; art performances and the "Khmer Traditional Art" Festival of An Giang province in 2025; art performances after the opening ceremony of the festival.
Sports competitions include: An Giang Province's 2025 men's and women's boat racing tournament; An Giang Province's Taekwondo Club Cup 2025; Go Quao Commune's men's volleyball tournament 2025, Go Quao Commune's men's football tournament (11 players) 2025. The festival takes place from October 28 to November 6.
At the festival, the "Khmer Traditional Arts" Festival of An Giang province in 2025 will take place.
The People's Committee of An Giang province requires that the organization of the festival must comply with regulations and be consistent with the traditions and customs of the Khmer people; ensure security, order, safety, in a joyful, healthy and effective spirit; practice thrift, avoid ostentation, ensure food hygiene and safety, manage market prices according to regulations; promote information and propaganda work on the purpose and meaning of the festival to people inside and outside the province to participate in the festival; mobilize sponsorship effectively and manage finances according to regulations.
Communes, wards and special zones with Khmer people living organize local cultural and sports activities and select performances and teams to participate in the provincial Khmer Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival...
