On the evening of February 7 (ie the evening of December 28, the year of the Cat), the Organizing Committee of Nguyen Hue Flower Street solemnly held the opening ceremony of Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet Giap Thin 2024 with the theme Spring of love, Tet reunion.
Attending the opening ceremony of Nguyen Hue Flower Street for the Year of the Dragon 2024 were comrades Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, along with former leaders of the Party and State; leaders of ministries, central agencies, Ho Chi Minh City and a large number of people from all walks of life.
In addition, the opening ceremony was attended by Consuls General of the Netherlands, Indonesia, Italy, Laos, UK, Malaysia, China, representatives of the Consulate General of the United States, India, Japan and Thailand; businesses and partners accompanying Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2024.
Before the opening ceremony of Nguyen Hue Flower Street for the Year of the Dragon 2024, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen led a delegation to respectfully lay fresh bouquets of flowers at the Statue of President Ho Chi Minh , the National Liberation Hero, the genius leader of our Party and people, and the outstanding cultural figure of Vietnam.
At the opening ceremony of Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Center for Performing Arts and Cinema presented a vibrant and joyful art program with many unique singing and dancing performances .
Afterwards, the delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet Giap Thin 2024, officially opening the Flower Street for people and tourists to visit and enjoy.
Right after the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the delegation visited Nguyen Hue Flower Street with many joyful emotions, excited spirit, mixed with the bright joy of spring flowers, beautiful scenery, majestic, large-scale, sharp and impressive dragon mascot.
Nguyen Hue Flower Street for the Year of the Dragon 2024 with the theme of Spring of Love, Tet Reunion officially opens to serve the spring travel and enjoyment needs of city residents and tourists from 7:00 p.m. on February 7 (December 28) to 9:00 p.m. on February 14 (the 5th day of Tet).
Nguyen Hue Flower Street is a typical cultural work of Ho Chi Minh City every Lunar New Year, a place to display and exhibit works of art of fresh flowers, bonsai, miniature landscapes, statues, reliefs... imbued with national cultural identity and spirit of the times.
Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet Giap Thin 2024 was carried out with the efforts of artisans, engineers and workers. The project is large-scale, magnificent, with unique ideas, promising to be a highlight in the cultural space of Lunar New Year in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting a large number of people and domestic and international tourists to visit and enjoy.
In particular, the space of Nguyen Hue Flower Street this year continues to be decorated with unique flower arrangements and displays from the consular representative offices in Ho Chi Minh City of 10 countries, with 10 flower decoration booths, including: India, the United States, the Netherlands, Indonesia, Italy, Laos, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand and China.
The collection of floral artworks from the Consulates creates a fresh charm. This is an interesting combination, adding rich colors to the appearance of the 21st Flower Street of the Year of the Dragon 2024.
