Commemorating the wife of famous painter Le Ba Dang in his hometown of Bich La Dong

Today, January 1, in a cozy atmosphere at the private home of the famous painter Le Ba Dang in Bich La Dong village, Trieu Thanh commune, Trieu Phong district, the family and relatives solemnly held a memorial service for Mrs. Myshu Lebadang, wife of the famous painter Le Ba Dang.

Ms. Myshu Lebadang was born on July 5, 1929 in Le Havre, France, and passed away on December 26, 2023 in Paris, France, at the age of 94. Ms. Myshu Lebadang (full name Micheline Nguyen Hai) is French of Vietnamese origin and used to work for a famous French fashion brand as a designer.

In 1950, she married the famous painter Le Ba Dang, whose hometown was in Bich La Dong village, Trieu Thanh commune, Trieu Phong district. She was the person who had a great influence on the life and creative career of the famous painter Le Ba Dang.

Many times returning to Vietnam with her husband, Mrs. Myshu Lebadang has closely followed her husband's artistic activities with many quiet roles behind the scenes. According to family members and relatives of the famous painter Le Ba Dang, Mrs. Myshu Lebadang has returned to her husband's hometown in Bich La Dong village many times. She is a gentle, profound, approachable woman and is loved by everyone.

At the memorial service, delegates and relatives of the famous painter Le Ba Dang, local people and art lovers respectfully offered incense and fresh flowers to commemorate Ms. Myshu Lebadang.

The ceremony took place in a cozy family atmosphere, everyone took a moment of silence to remember and bid farewell to the woman who had a great influence on the life and career of the famous painter Le Ba Dang. After the flower and incense offering ceremony, everyone together recalled the memories and beautiful stories that they had the chance to meet and talk with Ms. Myshu Lebadang.
