Tuyen Quang: Landslide buries a family, leaving 4 people missing

Due to prolonged heavy rain, a serious landslide occurred in Ma Lau village, Lung Cu commune, Tuyen Quang province, leaving four people in a family missing.

Specifically, the landslide buried the entire house of Mr. Vang Cha So, Ma Lau village, causing 4 family members to go missing, including: Mr. Vang Cha So, born in 1982; Ms. Hau Thi Dinh, born in 1980; Vang Xuan Hoa, born in 2003; and Vang Minh Hai, born in 2004.

Mr. Duong Ngoc Duc, Secretary of Lung Cu Commune Party Committee, said: Immediately after the incident, Lung Cu Commune authorities mobilized more than 100 people, including militia, border guards, police and local people to the scene to search for missing people; at the same time, evacuate households in areas at risk of landslides to a safe place.
