Tuyen Quang continues to improve the effectiveness of work in the judicial field and judicial reform.

Comrade Phung Tien Quan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Judicial Reform spoke at the conference.

Comrade Phung Tien Quan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee, and Deputy Head of the Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee chaired the conference. Attending the meeting were Comrade Le Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Steering Committee and standing representatives of district and city Party Committees.

In the first 6 months of 2024, Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province have led and directed the strict implementation of resolutions and conclusions of the Central and the province on the judiciary and judicial reform. The leadership role of Party committees and organizations in judicial agencies has been strengthened, the organization and staff of judicial agencies have been consolidated and improved, ensuring effective operations, gradually meeting the requirements of the tasks.

Judicial agencies closely follow their assigned functions, tasks and powers, carry out investigation, prosecution, trial, execution of judgment and related activities in accordance with the provisions of law, contributing to maintaining and stabilizing political security and social order and safety in the locality.

At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified the causes of some limitations and shortcomings; difficulties and obstacles and proposed solutions to improve efficiency and perform well the tasks in the last months of 2024. Accordingly, Party committees, authorities at all levels, agencies and units continue to lead, direct and organize the effective implementation of conclusions, resolutions, regulations, action programs and leadership and direction documents of the Central Government and the province on judicial work and judicial reform.

At the same time, it is necessary to carry out well the work of Party building, building truly clean and strong judicial and judicial support agencies; carefully prepare conditions to successfully organize the Party Congress and Party cell for the 2025-2030 term.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Phung Tien Quan requested that judicial agencies continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of performing their tasks; carry out investigation, prosecution and trial of criminal cases in accordance with the provisions of law, ensuring timeliness and strictness, avoiding injustice, mistakes and omission of crimes.

At the same time, improve the quality of interrogation and litigation in court in the spirit of judicial reform. Agencies proactively carry out recruitment, planning, training, fostering and regularly do well the work of political and ideological education , ensuring that the judicial and judicial support agencies are truly clean and strong, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

At the conference, delegates also contributed ideas to the draft to perfect the Working Group of the Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee for the 2021-2025 term to meet the requirements of assigned tasks.
