Player Bui Hoang Viet Anh was hospitalized for emergency treatment.

In the 7th minute of the match between The Cong Viettel and Cong An Ha Noi Club in round 13 of V-League 2023-2024, Hanoi Police midfielder Bui Hoang Viet Anh collided with a player of The Cong Viettel. He had bleeding in the mouth and was treated by doctors.

However, due to the seriousness of the tear, Viet Anh was then carried off the field for the doctors to bandage. He continued playing but due to the pain and dizziness from blood loss, he was forced to leave the field and get into an ambulance to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Compared to Tuan Hai, Bui Hoang Viet Anh's injury is not as serious, but he will need a week to heal and will need 24 stitches. This also means that the Hanoi Police midfielder may miss the two matches between Vietnam and Indonesia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Previously, striker Tuan Hai suffered a serious injury when Quang Nam player Tang Tien kicked him straight in the shin with his shoe. To get the most accurate assessment of the extent of the injury, on the morning of March 9, Pham Tuan Hai was taken for a comprehensive check-up once again.
