Quang Yen Town releases 100,000 fish fry into the natural environment

On the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the Fisheries Industry's Traditional Day (April 1, 1959 - April 1, 2025), on the morning of March 30, at the ancient ferry wharf area of ​​Tran Hung Dao Temple, Quang Yen Town held a ceremony to release aquatic species into the natural environment.

The release of aquatic species into the natural environment has been maintained annually by Quang Yen Town. Through the release of aquatic species, it aims to promote and arouse the movement of the entire population to participate in the protection and development of aquatic resources, participate in the activities of regenerating and restoring aquatic resources; at the same time, propagate to the people not to exploit aquatic resources destructively such as: Do not use fishing tools with small meshes, do not use electric shocks, explosives or toxic chemicals to catch aquatic products, do not fish in prohibited fishing areas.

Along with increasing the release of fish fry, Quang Yen town requires localities and units to focus on preventing prohibited occupations and destroying aquatic resources; reasonably developing fishing fleets in the open sea and onshore areas; organizing production in chains, diversifying farming objects; building a synchronous system of fishery logistics services... so that the aquatic products of Quang Yen town increasingly improve in quality and build a reputation in the market.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates released 100,000 aquatic species, including sea bass, mullet, pompano, etc., into the natural environment.
