Due to the requirements of socio-economic development, a number of works and projects have arisen that must be submitted to the Provincial People's Council for approval of the list of works and projects requiring land acquisition for implementation in 2024. The Provincial People's Committee has proposed that the Provincial People's Council issue a resolution approving the list of works and projects requiring land acquisition according to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 62 of the Land Law in the province.

Specifically, there are 8 projects with a total area of more than 61 hectares that need to recover rice fields, protective forest land and other land in 5 localities: Vinh city, Hoang Mai town and Quynh Luu, Tuong Duong and Hung Nguyen districts.

Among the 8 projects requiring land acquisition, there are 2 traffic projects, including the road connecting National Highway 1A to Hoang Mai Town Medical Center and the road connecting Hoang Mai Town Medical Center to Hoang Mai 2 High School; 1 industrial cluster project in Hung Yen Nam commune (Hung Nguyen district); 1 urban area project in Hung Nguyen town...

Along with the proposal to reclaim land, based on the need to convert the purpose of using rice-growing land and protective forest land of districts, cities and towns in the province; at the same time, based on the approved land use planning and plan, the Provincial People's Committee also submitted to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and approval of the resolution to convert the purpose of using rice-growing land and protective forest land according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 58 of the Land Law to implement works and investment projects in the province.

Specifically, the total area proposed by the Provincial People's Committee to convert is more than 15 hectares to carry out 11 works and projects in 7 localities: Vinh City, Hoang Mai Town and the districts of Quynh Luu, Que Phong, Tuong Duong, Do Luong, and Hung Nguyen.
