Ukraine has enough energy to get through the winter

“We have enough energy resources, in this respect we feel secure. The question is how much future attacks could affect supplies,” Mr Galushchenko told Ukrainian public television.

Mr Galushchenko said Ukraine expected Russia to restart mass drone and missile attacks on energy infrastructure as temperatures dropped below zero degrees Celsius.

“Of course, low temperatures will cause additional harm. Any temperature below zero increases the risk,” the minister added.

Ukraine has experienced unseasonably warm weather so far this autumn, but temperatures are expected to drop below zero degrees Celsius in Kiev and elsewhere next week.
