Developing new party members is one of the important tasks, aiming to strengthen the fighting capacity and ensure the continuity and continuous development of the Party. In recent times, the Party Cell of Thanh Loc Secondary and High School has paid special attention to discovering and nurturing outstanding masses as well as political and ideological education for the young generation. Implementing the target of developing new party members for the 2020-2025 term, the Party Cell has directed organizations and unions to develop a plan to take care of training and nurturing young, dynamic masses with courage and knowledge to introduce to the Party.

According to Secretary of the Party Cell, Principal of Thanh Loc Secondary and High School Tran Thi Thu Oanh, in order to create an environment for training, competition, and to arouse the spirit of striving, competing in studying and training in students, right from when they entered grade 10, the school has developed a plan, a roadmap for discovering, training, and creating sources for recruiting party members. After each semester, the Youth Union branches organize voting and propose the title of excellent union member for outstanding individuals so that the School Youth Union can introduce the Party Cell to consider and assign party members to train and help them strive to become candidates for consideration for Party admission.

The Party Cell Secretary and Deputy Party Cell Secretary of Thanh Loc Secondary and High School talked with two young party members, Duong Phong Dat and Nguyen Bao Tam.

With many years of dedication to planning and monitoring, through activities to nurture "red seeds" for the Party organization, Deputy Secretary of Thanh Loc Secondary and High School Party Cell Chau Van Hau said: "To proactively and effectively implement the work of creating a source of developing new Party members, every year, the Party Cell always pays attention to training and selecting 11th grade students with excellent academic achievements, enthusiastically participating in the activities of the Youth Union and school movements to send to attend Party awareness classes. In the work of developing the Party, the Party Cell always closely follows the Party Charter, directives from superiors and strictly implements regulations, processes and procedures, ensuring objectivity and democracy."

Proud of 18 year old party members

In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Cell of Thanh Loc Secondary and High School admitted 28 new Party members, including 25 students. In the 2024-2025 school year alone, 5 students were honored to join the Party - an impressive number in the local school sector. "The students admitted to the Party are all students with a clean moral lifestyle, good academic results, and demonstrated excellence during their time at school," said Party Cell Secretary and Principal of Thanh Loc Secondary and High School Tran Thi Thu Oanh.

Nguyen Bao Tam, one of the newly admitted young party members, shared emotionally: “Being admitted to the Party while still a high school student is a great source of pride for me. I always remember the oath taken at the admission ceremony, it is the motivation to live more responsibly, to strive harder in my studies and in life.”

During her junior high school years and especially her three years in high school, Bao Tam was always an excellent member in all fields, achieving good results in studying, training and actively participating in union activities. Bao Tam said that when she was in grade 10, she and her friends were taught about the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the examples of loyal revolutionary soldiers, and extracurricular activities at the Nguyen Van Thoi Historical Site. These experiences helped her to quickly determine her life goals and clear ideals, fostering her desire to contribute and promote her own abilities and strengths. Teachers also guided students with many useful contents.

As for Duong Phong Dat, a young party member who wishes to study and train in a military environment, being admitted to the Party when he turned 18 is an unforgettable milestone. This is also the motivation for Dat to continue to try harder, strive harder, and gradually mature to contribute to building and protecting his homeland and country. "I feel very honored, proud and also see more clearly my responsibility" - Phong Dat expressed.

For Bao Tam and Phong Dat, the Party card is not only a source of pride, but also a worthy result for their persistent efforts and idealistic life since their school years.
