To promote the effectiveness of the movement, the Provincial Farmers' Association proactively coordinates with departments, branches and localities to advise the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee to issue many important guidelines and policies, creating a legal corridor and resources to support the movement. Typically: Plan No. 78/KH-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee in 2022 on developing safe agricultural production; Plan No. 143/KH-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee in 2024 implementing the Project "Vietnam Farmers' Association participates in collective economic development in agriculture until 2030"... On this basis, Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province launch and sign annual emulation agreements, assigning specific targets to each locality. At the same time, regularly inspect, guide, summarize, summarize and commend advanced models to promptly adjust and replicate effective models.
With the motto "Farmers help farmers", all levels of Farmers' Associations have encouraged members to actively participate in production linkage models, cooperatives, cooperatives, and professional associations. The whole province currently has more than 450 farmers' clubs, 80 cooperatives, 83 cooperatives, 129 branches, and professional associations operating effectively, creating an increasingly tight production and product consumption network. The emulation movement has contributed to changing farmers' awareness from small-scale production to a mindset of concentrated commodity production linked to the market.
The Association promotes vocational training, technical training, production consulting according to the value chain, and guides farmers in applying digital transformation in agriculture . Over the past 5 years, more than 63,000 members have participated in training courses and transferred science and technology. Good farming households have become "practical lecturers", directly instructing and sharing experiences, contributing to the formation of an effective model of farmers teaching farmers. At the same time, the Provincial Farmers' Association has promoted its role as a credit bridge, creating conditions for members to access capital sources to develop production. To date, the Farmers' Support Fund has reached over 80 billion VND, along with more than 2,400 billion VND of entrusted capital from banks disbursed to thousands of households, effectively supporting economic development.
Up to now, many agricultural models applying science and technology, effectively transforming the structure of crops and livestock have been formed, bringing high economic value and spreading strongly in the community. In the eastern region of the province, the movement has encouraged farmers to boldly invest in developing models of growing high-quality fruit trees, such as lychee, custard apple, and pomelo, combined with the application of drip irrigation technology, fruit wrapping according to VietGAP standards, bringing in revenue of hundreds of millions of VND/ha. In the Quang Yen area, many households have converted ineffective rice land to brackish water aquaculture, raising super-intensive shrimp in tarpaulin-lined tanks, both protecting the environment and creating stable output and profit. In the mountainous communes in the Eastern region of the province, indigenous livestock and poultry farming models combine eco-tourism and OCOP product development, such as: Tien Yen chicken farming, Mong Cai pig farming, Ba Che honey farming, Binh Lieu vermicelli... The models not only help people exploit local potential, but also form a value chain of production - processing - consumption, linking products with local brands and tourism.
Farmers' Associations at all levels also coordinate with the agricultural sector and enterprises to deploy many high-tech production models, such as: hydroponic vegetable cultivation, greenhouses; cage fish farming; production, preliminary processing, packaging of OCOP agricultural products... Many products produced by farmers are certified with 3 and 4 star OCOP, with stable consumption in the domestic and foreign markets. These models not only demonstrate the dynamism and creativity of Quang Ninh farmers, but also demonstrate the leading and accompanying role of the Farmers' Association in transferring technical advances, connecting product consumption, building brands and developing a sustainable rural economy.
According to statistics of the Provincial Farmers' Association, in the period of 2020-2025, the whole province has over 308,000 farmer households registering to compete in good production and business; of which over 233,000 households achieved the title of good production and business at all levels, especially 37 households with good production and business at the central level.
Not only competing in economic development, Quang Ninh farmers also actively participate in social movements, contributing to the construction of advanced and model new rural areas. In the past 5 years, farmers in the whole province have donated more than 364,000m² of land, contributed over 28,000 working days to repair 2,600km of rural roads and thousands of km of intra-field canals. Many environmental protection models have been maintained effectively, such as: "Self-managed farmer roads"; "Beautiful houses, clean roads, clean fields"; "Say no to plastic bags and plastic waste", contributing to creating a new, green - clean - beautiful appearance for the rural areas of Quang Ninh.
HND coordinates to mobilize the construction of hygienic latrines, eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; support people in difficult circumstances in mountainous communes, remote areas, and ethnic minority areas, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and mutual love - the fine traditional values of the Vietnamese peasant class. The emulation movement "Good farmer households in production and business" not only creates material value, but also strengthens confidence, arouses the desire to rise up and become rich legitimately of farmers.
Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the Provincial Farmers' Association will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, promote digital transformation, support farmers in accessing science and technology, linking production and consumption of agricultural products according to the value chain; build a new generation of farmers with knowledge, courage, creativity... Thereby contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of developing modern agriculture, civilized countryside, and prosperous farmers.
