(NLDO)- Along Sam Son beach (Thanh Hoa), there is a system of iron fences that are currently seriously degraded, posing a potential safety risk to tourists.

On March 16, a leader of the People's Committee of Sam Son City, Thanh Hoa Province, said that he had received information that the iron fence system on the walking path along Sam Son beach (Fishing village area to FLC resort (Quang Cu ward, Sam Son City) was damaged and degraded and was assigning functional departments to study a renovation plan to prepare for the upcoming tourist season.

Recently, residents and tourists have reported that the area has a system of iron fences about 1 km long that are rusted and seriously degraded. Some sections of the fence are even gone, leaving only screws and iron posts.

In reality, the fence has rusted and changed color due to contact with seawater. Many sections of the fence are damaged and broken. In some places, only a few iron bars remain, and trees are leaning and broken. Even more dangerous, in many places, only screws remain, posing many dangers to residents and tourists when walking here at night.

This iron fence was built more than 10 years ago, and over time was corroded by sea water, leading to damage.

The entire road, about 1 km long, is littered with the remains of iron fence posts.

The crooked and tilted iron bars make the beach area look unsightly.

There are even places where broken iron trees leave behind screws like this, which looks very dangerous for people and tourists when sightseeing in this area.

This fence was erected to ensure the safety of tourists, because underneath are stone crates that were poured down to prevent waves from eroding the beach.
