At the event, artist Viet Huong had the opportunity to "pour out her heart" about the process of working with director Khuong Ngoc from the project Chi Dau to Cuc Vang Cua Ngoai . She humorously shared that if every director has his own "muse", then with Khuong Ngoc, she herself is like an "old devil".

Artist Viet Huong revealed that during work, there were times when they were so stressed that they got angry, didn't want to talk to each other, even blocked each other's numbers and left all working groups to avoid seeing each other.

But then, thanks to Khuong Ngoc, she had the opportunity to reinvent herself. “That pressure also became a creative motivation, helping me delve deeper into cinema,” Viet Huong expressed.

Not only Viet Huong, actress Bang Di, in her first collaboration with director Khuong Ngoc, also admitted that she faced a lot of pressure because of his fastidiousness and perfectionism.

Inspired by sweet childhood memories, Grandma's Gold Cube brings a warm story about grandmother-grandchild love in a small neighborhood filled with love.

Mrs. Hau - a woman who worked hard all her life, now became the sole support of her grandchild when her daughter left. Although life is still full of hardships, her love for her grandchild is always complete. To her, her grandchild is a "golden nugget" - her joy, her comfort and also her reason for living.

The film gently takes the audience back to familiar moments in the small neighborhood: the innocent smile of the grandchild, the protective arms of the grandmother and the care from the neighbors. All combine to create a warm picture of everyday life, reminding of a peaceful childhood and simple, sincere human love.

According to director Khuong Ngoc, during the process of writing the script, he spent a lot of time observing, listening, and had to stop many times to check the dialogue and details to make sure that the material in the film was suitable for everyday life.

Ngoai's Gold will have early screenings from 6 p.m. on October 16 before officially opening in theaters nationwide from October 17.
