Quoc Truong had no difficulty playing the role of a "young pilot"

In the movie Chi nga em nang, actor Quoc Truong plays the role of doctor Truong - a young man who falls into a complicated love-money relationship with the "rich woman" Thuong, played by Le Khanh. This is a completely different image from his familiar roles as a brave businessman on the small screen.

Although in real life Le Khanh is 7 years older than Quoc Truong, is a mother of two children and has a stable family life, the age difference is not too big of an obstacle for the actor. He proactively narrows the gap by organizing meals together, chatting, singing to create a natural connection before entering the filming set.

“I no longer see this as Ms. Le Khanh, but completely believe this is the character Thuong – a woman who needs protection,” Quoc Truong shared.

For her part, Le Khanh said that at first she was a bit hesitant when paired with a younger co-star. However, the encouragement from director Vu Thanh Vinh and the cooperative spirit from Quoc Truong helped the two quickly create a rapport.

To create a suitable image for the character Thuong, the production team invited image design experts and invested heavily in costumes, accessories and makeup to create the image of a luxurious, seductive "strong woman", worthy of the "young pilot".

Besides the couple Le Khanh - Quoc Truong, Chi nga em nang also features the young actor couple Uyen An - Thuan Nguyen. For the first time acting together on the big screen, the two have many differences in personality and appearance. While Uyen An is active and youthful, Thuan Nguyen is calm and reserved. The 20cm height difference also made the couple somewhat awkward when getting into character at first.

Uyen An shared that after many discussions with the crew and co-stars, she gradually felt more comfortable with the somewhat liberal emotional scenes: "I felt the sincerity and determination in Thuan's acting, from there it was easy to coordinate and create a common emotion when acting."
