Vietnam welcomes ceasefire agreement for current conflict between Israel and Iran

On June 26, in response to a reporter's question asking for Vietnam's reaction to the parties reaching a ceasefire agreement for the current conflict between Israel and Iran on June 24, Spokesperson of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang stated:

“Vietnam welcomes the ceasefire agreement for the current conflict between Israel and Iran. We call on relevant parties to seriously comply with the agreement, creating conditions for peace , stability and development in the region and the world.

Vietnam supports efforts to promote negotiations and dialogue on the basis of respecting national sovereignty and principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, in order to bring about long-term and sustainable peace in the region.
