Ms. Thoummaly Vongphachanh, Chairwoman of the National Assembly 's Judicial Committee and Vice President of the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association, admired the scale and professionalism of the commemorative activities. She highly appreciated the comprehensive, colorful and emotional success of the program, emphasizing that all activities were organized carefully, methodically and without any negligence, demonstrating the careful preparation and high sense of responsibility of the Organizing Committee.
Mr. Vann Phal, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Vice President of the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association, was moved by the image of tens of thousands of people in red costumes, holding national flags, standing along the streets to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Independence Day, demonstrating the spirit of national unity and the aspiration for national reunification. He also assessed that the display of modern weapons at the National Achievement Exhibition showed Vietnam's ability to firmly protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, while affirming its increasingly developed defense capacity. The presence of international guests at the event was also a testament to the extensive cooperation and support of international friends for Vietnam. All of this shows that Vietnam is not only a strong military and economic country, but also always steadfast in its stance of peace and friendship with neighboring countries. The Chinese delegates also expressed their honor and deep impression of Vietnam's 80 years of achievements in building and developing the country. Mr. Lieu Hong Lam, Secretary of Nam Khe Son Hospital, said that the visit to the Vietnam History Museum and Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh province) helped them understand more deeply about the history, country and people of Vietnam. Delegate of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) Truong Vi Vi affirmed the desire to "continue to tighten cooperation, promote traditional comradely and brotherly friendship" and accompany Vietnam on the path of modernization.
