According to information from the Ministry of Science and Technology , on October 21, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the International Forum "Expanding digital investment: Connecting European technological advantages with Vietnam's digital future" will take place.
The event is co-organized by D4D Hub, EU Delegation to Vietnam, AVSE Global, EuroCham Vietnam, in cooperation with the National Data Association (NDA) and the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA).
The organizers said that with more than 300 delegates, this is one of the most important forums in 2025 on digital cooperation between Europe and Vietnam, gathering a large number of experts in the field and state management agencies.
At the same time, the event promises to create strategic connections and open up many investment opportunities thanks to the participation of many leading names in the science and technology industry such as:FPT , Viettel, Bosch Global Software Technologies, CT Group, VNPT, Inno3/OpenLaw, Kineis, experts from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and AVSE Global...

The forum aims at main objectives such as creating space for businesses of both sides to find cooperation opportunities, promoting B2B and B2G connections; strengthening the "European Technology - Business Solution Package" in the Vietnamese market - this package includes the simultaneous mobilization of technology, experts, knowledge and capital from Europe, along with support activities...
"The digital revolution and AI are shaping the future of global growth, competition and security. International cooperation is the inevitable path to ensuring a trusted digital space, and Vietnam is emerging as a dynamic and potential partner of Europe. In this context, the event becomes an important meeting point to concretize commitments and resources from the European side," the representative of the organizing committee emphasized.
According to the organizers, with a series of incentive strategies for the industry, Vietnam aims to be in the top 30 digital countries by 2030, prioritizing fields such as AI, semiconductors, 5G/6G, cloud computing and cybersecurity.
The government also aims to build the first semiconductor factory by 2030 with a capital of about 12.8 trillion VND (500 million USD), at the same time train 50,000 semiconductor engineers and 5,000 AI experts; build at least 10 new cable lines by 2030, bringing the total to at least 15 lines with a capacity of 350 Tbps (10 times higher than present).
Diverse perspectives and participants
As a completely free forum, the organizers said they welcomed a wide range of participants from Vietnamese and European businesses. In particular, the event also had the participation of financial institutions and investors, to ensure "multi-stakeholder" discussions, creating a harmonious combination between the public, private, academic and financial sectors.
