Vietravel Airlines has just posted recruitment information for a number of positions including captain, co-pilot, DPE (flight evaluation instructor) and LSC/FI (teacher).
According to the airline's announcement, the estimated after-tax salary for the DPE position is 318 million VND/month, and for the LSC/FI position is 288 million VND/month. For the captain and first officer positions, the salaries are 202 million VND and 120 million VND/month, respectively. The airline sets specific requirements for experience for each position.

Earlier this year, aviation website Aviation A2Z revealed the pilot salaries of Vietnam Airlines and VietJet Air in 2025. According to this unit, the salaries of captains at Vietnam Airlines tend to fluctuate from 10,000 to 18,000 USD/month (about 251-451 million VND/month), equivalent to 120,000-216,000 USD/year (3-5.4 billion VND/year). The salary will depend on seniority and work experience.
At Vietjet, captains will have a 2-3 year contract, or can be renewed at the end of their term, and earn between 8,000 and 12,000 USD/month (about 200-300 million VND/month), equivalent to 96,000-144,000 USD/year (2.4-3.6 billion VND/year).
