This information was given by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man at the meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the morning of September 29, when giving his opinion on the draft report summarizing the work of the 15th term of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee.

The National Assembly Chairman said that at the 10th session, the National Assembly is expected to consider and pass nearly 50 draft laws and resolutions, including many important resolutions to promptly institutionalize the Central Government's new policies on education , health care, and international integration.

This is the largest legislative workload since the beginning of the term, far exceeding that of the 9th session, according to the National Assembly Chairman.

Also at the final session of the term, the National Assembly will approve investment policies for important programs; and at the same time conduct personnel work, supervision and public petitions.

The National Assembly Chairman further emphasized that the 10th session will have important changes in the organization method. Accordingly, the National Assembly will meet continuously instead of dividing into 2 sessions and taking a break in the middle. Content groups in the same field or related fields will be arranged to be presented and discussed together; the time for presenting proposals and reports will also be shortened...

Also according to the National Assembly Chairman, the 13th Conference of the Party Central Committee will take place in October.

“Agencies need to pay special attention, proactively advise and prepare early to submit to the National Assembly for consideration the contents within their authority, promptly institutionalize the major policies and orientations that the conference will decide,” the National Assembly Chairman requested.

Emphasizing that the time to prepare for the session is still very short, the National Assembly Chairman requested that agencies make the most of every day and every hour, and work urgently in the final stage, but absolutely not in a perfunctory manner; ensuring that the submitted documents are complete, rigorous, and thoroughly examined.

"What must be done to ensure that the 10th session is held successfully, with a high sense of responsibility, ensuring discipline, order, quality and efficiency," according to the request of the National Assembly Chairman.
