iPhone 16 Pro Max suddenly increased in price slightly after iPhone 17 Pro Max hit shelves

However, these two devices are still being sold by the company's authorized dealers in the Vietnamese market. The price of the iPhone 16 Pro Max was even adjusted up slightly after the iPhone 17 hit the shelves.

Specifically, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is being offered by some systems at a price of 30 million VND for the 256GB version, an increase of 300,000 VND compared to last month. Some color versions such as natural titanium are also priced 200,000 VND higher.

"iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are still receiving a lot of attention from users. However, because Apple has stopped producing these two devices, the supply on the market is decreasing sharply. That leads to there not being enough colors and versions to meet all customer needs," said a representative of Minh Tuan Mobile.

In previous years, the selling price of the new iPhone was not much different from the previous version. However, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is currently priced 8 million VND higher than the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

This difference also contributes to clearly dividing the customer base of the two models. This makes the sales of the iPhone 16 Pro Max almost unaffected even though the iPhone 17 Pro Max has been on shelves, especially in the context of the iPhone 17 Pro Max still being sold out.

According to dealers, limited supply may cause the selling price of iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max to continue to be adjusted upwards. It is expected that the current supply will only be enough to meet the market's purchasing power in the next few months.

"The purchasing power of iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max has not only not decreased but is also growing quite well. According to the goods plan, the supply of this device can serve customers until the end of 2025," said Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Apple Product Director at Di Dong Viet.

Since its launch, the iPhone 16 Pro Max has always been the model that has received a lot of attention from users in the Vietnamese market. According to a report from market research firm Counterpoint Research, the iPhone 16 Pro Max was the second best-selling phone globally in the second quarter of 2025.
