VinFast announces "gasoline exchange - electricity" program with incentives up to 100 million VND/car

On June 26, 2025, continuing the series of practical and meaningful actions of the campaign "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future for the 3rd time", while creating a strong motivation to encourage consumers to switch from gasoline cars to electric cars, VinFast announced the program "Gas Collection - Electricity Exchange" with attractive incentives up to 100 million VND/car. The unprecedented "benefit on benefit" policy in the market is applied at all VinFast dealers nationwide from June 24, 2025.

The conditions for participating in the program are that individual or business customers have owned a gasoline vehicle for at least 3 months or more, and are the registered owner of a new VinFast electric vehicle.

Customers can sell their gasoline vehicles themselves and bring proof of completed vehicle sales transactions to any VinFast dealer to receive support when purchasing a new VinFast vehicle; or request VinFast support. The company will connect customers with at least 03 reputable used car dealers in the market to get valuations and process used car sales in a transparent, quick and most beneficial way for customers.

Regarding incentives, customers will receive support levels corresponding to each vehicle model, deducted directly from the selling price, specifically as follows:

In particular, the "Gas Collection - Electricity Exchange" program will be applied simultaneously with VinFast's current incentive programs, bringing an unprecedented "profit-on-profit" opportunity in the market.

Accordingly, the "cumulative" programs are a 4% discount per car according to the "Close Partner for the People" policy; discounts of up to 70 million VND per car for citizens of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City corresponding to the programs "For a Green Capital" and "For a Green Ho Chi Minh City". In addition, all customers owning VinFast electric cars nationwide are entitled to free battery charging at V-Green public charging stations until June 30, 2027.

Along with cars, the "Gas Collection - Electricity Exchange" program is also being widely applied by VinFast to motorbikes, attracting the attention and strong response of a large number of customers. Thousands of gasoline motorbikes have been converted to electric motorbikes in two events organized by VinFast in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City recently. Currently, the program is still being implemented in other provinces and cities across the country.
