Ceremony to announce the Decision to appoint the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex Construction and Trading Corporation

Comrade Pham Van Thanh - Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex presented the Decision to appoint Chairman of the Board of Members of Petrolimex Construction and Trading Corporation to Mr. Nguyen Ba Tung

The ceremony to announce the decisions on high-level personnel of PGCC was solemnly held with the participation of comrade Pham Van Thanh - Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex; leaders of the Board of Directors of the Group, the Board of Supervisors of the Group; the Executive Board of the Party Committee of the Corporation (TCT); all members of the Board of Directors of the Corporation; the group of representatives of the Corporation at the units; the Board of Supervisors; the Board of Directors; leaders of the Trade Union, Youth Union and Heads and Deputy Heads of the Departments/Offices of the Corporation; Chairmen, General Directors/Directors of units under PGCC in Hanoi .

Attending online were the Chairmen and Directors of member/affiliated companies; Heads of capital representative groups/Capital representatives holding the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors; Directors of companies with capital contributions from PGCC.

According to Decision No. 1169/PLX-QD-HĐQT dated September 30, 2025 of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Mr. Nguyen Ba Tung officially assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Members (Board of Members) of Petrolimex Construction and Trading Corporation, for a period of 05 years from October 1, 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Pham Van Thanh - Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary and Chairman of Petrolimex Board of Directors congratulated the Corporation, in which Comrade Nguyen Ba Tung was entrusted by the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Petroleum Group with the new responsibility and position. Comrade Pham Van Thanh requested that Comrade Nguyen Ba Tung, in the coming time in his new position, should pay attention to implementing the following contents:

- Quickly accept tasks, comprehensively update the production and business situation of the Corporation, closely coordinate with the Board of Directors and Executive Board in the spirit of solidarity and determination to excellently complete the set planning goals.

- Pay special attention to innovating corporate governance thinking towards modernity, transparency, proactive digital transformation, risk management and constantly improving productivity and quality to successfully complete assigned tasks.

In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Ba Tung respectfully thanked the Group's Board of Directors, the Party Committee - Board of Directors - Board of Management and all employees of PGCC Corporation for entrusting him with the important task. Comrade Nguyen Ba Tung identified this as not only a great honor but also a heavy responsibility in the context of the Corporation having many development opportunities but also many challenges, requiring the promotion of a comprehensive leadership role in the enterprise, which is a decisive factor in ensuring the goal of stability and sustainable development. In his new position, the new Chairman of the Board of Directors determined the following orientations: Modernizing the management system, promoting digital transformation, using data to make quick decisions, promptly adapting to the market; Building a corporate culture towards a professional, united PGCC, accompanying member units in the process of building, developing, successfully restructuring, improving operational efficiency and sustainable development. Under the leadership, direction and support of the Group's leaders, especially the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, the Group's advisory boards, the coordination of member units and the efforts of all employees, PGCC will overcome all challenges, affirm its position in the system and build its image in the market.
