According to the conclusion of the Evaluation Council, one member of the council commented that Ms. H's thesis did not meet the standards of a doctoral thesis if the plagiarized parts were removed. The other 5 members assessed the thesis to be 55-60% quality.

When deciding, 5/6 members of the council did not agree to approve the thesis if the LTAH researcher did not accept, edit and supplement according to the council's opinion.

The council members recommended that the graduate student be receptive, seriously absorb and correct the errors pointed out in the thesis content.

The council members unanimously agreed that, after eliminating plagiarism and duplication, the content of chapters 2 and 3 of the thesis still had scientific significance, demonstrating the efforts and contributions of the researcher. The duplication and plagiarism were concentrated in chapter 4, so the scientific and theoretical value of this chapter was almost gone.

These members rated the thesis as average, however, did not give a specific assessment of the percentage of plagiarism.

There is 1 member who disagrees with the thesis because it does not meet the requirements.

Previously, as Dan Tri reported, on December 10, 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training sent a document to Hue University after receiving a report on the results of handling the complaint related to the doctoral thesis of Ms. LTAH, a former PhD student in 2013, majoring in Vietnamese History, University of Sciences, Hue University.

After receiving the conclusion of the Council for re-evaluation of the content of Ms. H's doctoral thesis from the University of Science, Hue University sent a report to the Ministry of Education and Training for consideration.
