Currently, muscle strength of both upper limbs is 5/5, muscle strength of both lower limbs is 5/5, he walks normally, droopy eyelids are gone, he breathes fresh air, can eat, drink, and urinate normally, and will be discharged soon.

As for patient NTX (13 years old), admitted on May 14, he received an intravenous infusion of half a bottle of BAT on May 15. His respiratory failure gradually progressed, and he was intubated and transferred to the intensive care unit on May 18. Currently, he is breathing weakly, with muscle strength in both upper limbs 4/5, muscle strength in both lower limbs 2/5, bowel movements, failed to wean him off the ventilator once, and is still on low-parameter ventilator and nutrition via gavage.

Children's Hospital 2 consulted with Cho Ray Hospital on the treatment direction for the two children D. and X. Currently, both will continue to receive supportive treatment (ventilator, nutrition, anti-infection, long-term care) and there is no indication to continue using BAT.
