VUS honored at Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2025

(Dan Tri) - The Vietnam-USA Society English Language System (VUS) was named in two categories of the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2025, an annual award organized by Asian Business Review to honor technological innovations in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Asian Technology Excellence Awards are organized annually by the Asian Business Review to honor the best technology projects and initiatives in the Asian region. In the 2025 season, VUS - Anh Van Hoi Viet My is the only English system in Asia to win the "Asia's Outstanding Technology Solution" award with two categories: "Mobile Application" for the OVI Students, OVI Parents ecosystem and " Education Technology Software" for the OVI IELTS project.

OVI Students & Parents application ecosystem - Complete experience for children and parents

In the “Mobile Application” category, VUS was honored with the OVI Students & Parents Apps ecosystem project. The duo of applications, launched on April 1, 2024, quickly created surprise and excitement for both students and parents, thanks to their new and lively approach.

OVI Students application, includes two levels: Kids (6-11 years old) and Teens (11-15 years old). OVI Kids helps children approach English through gamification, with the story context of "Kingdom in the Clouds".

The content is built seamlessly into classroom lessons in the form of interactive games to help children stay interested, maintain motivation to practice English and at the same time ensure progress.

With OVI Teens, the app focuses on personalizing the learning journey and helping students practice skills in the form of teen-specific challenges.

The weekly quest system, rewards and leaderboards keep you motivated, while the practice content is more academic and gradually increases in difficulty, creating a solid foundation for conquering international exams.

Internal data shows that in the 2024-2025 school year, Super Kids students who completed more than 75% of their training on OVI Kids had a final score nearly 3.5 points higher than the group that completed less than 25%. For Young Leaders, the difference was up to 7 points.

The notable improvements focused on vocabulary, writing and grammar skills, confirming the practical effectiveness that OVI brings in improving learning outcomes.

Designed specifically for parents, OVI Parents integrates real-time reports of grades, assignments, certificates, classroom photos, and attendance. With just one account, parents can manage multiple learning profiles, making English learning a family journey.

OVI IELTS - Opens up a world of useful IELTS test preparation, simulating real tests on computers

In the “Educational Technology Software” category, VUS was honored with the OVI IELTS project - a comprehensive IELTS test preparation platform, designed to meet the needs of personalized test preparation as well as the trend of computer-based testing.

The app offers over 20,000 level-specific learning activities, helping to practice four skills with real-time progress and a personalized roadmap. The Virtual Exam Room feature and AI Scoring Assistant for Speaking and Writing help students get used to the real exam, strengthen their mentality and achieve results close to the actual band score.

OVI IELTS is a powerful support tool for IELTS candidates in improving each personalized skill and taking simulated test on the computer (Screenshot).

More than just a preparation tool, OVI IELTS also creates a connected and motivating learning environment, with features such as Class Messenger and Home-school Connection, helping to connect students - teachers - parents, providing a comprehensive and effective test preparation experience.
