Kbang commune strives to have no more poor households by the end of the 2025-2030 term

(GLO)- On the morning of August 12, the Party Committee of Kbang commune (Gia Lai province) solemnly held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030. Attending and directing the Congress, comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation set the goal that by the end of the term, the commune will strive to have no more poor households.

Also attending the congress were comrades: Ha Son Nhin - former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee; Pham Thi To Hai - member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs; former key leaders of Kbang district (old) through the periods; representatives of the Standing Party Committees of To Tung, Kong Bo La, Son Lang, Dak Rong and Krong communes and 179 delegates representing 1,437 party members of 57 party organizations under the Party Committee.

Kbang commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of Kbang town, Lo Ku commune and Dak Smar commune.

During the past term, despite many difficulties, with the high determination of the entire political system and people of all walks of life, the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses of communes and towns has achieved many important results in many fields. In particular, the Party Committee of Kbang town achieved and exceeded 17/19 targets; the Party Committee of Dak Smar commune achieved and exceeded 22/30 targets; the Party Committee of Lo Ku commune achieved and exceeded 18/25 targets.

Party building work has been moving positively, the political system has been increasingly consolidated, improved, and operates effectively and efficiently. Political education, ideology, ethics, and lifestyle for cadres and party members has been implemented seriously and systematically, along with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle.

The rate of Party cells completing their tasks well each year is from 85% to 90%, and the rate of Party cells completing their tasks excellently is from 15% to 20%. Party inspection, supervision and discipline work has been strengthened and has many innovations. Mass mobilization work has focused on innovation in content and methods of operation; ethnic and religious work continues to have positive changes. The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations operate effectively, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", delegates discussed enthusiastically, contributed many enthusiastic opinions and unanimously approved 18 main targets, 3 key tasks, 4 breakthroughs and main groups of solutions in the 2025-2030 term.

Specifically, the commune strives for an average growth rate of total product value of 9.3%/year, average income per capita by 2030 to increase by 40.45% compared to 2025; strives to meet new rural standards; vocational training for 250 rural workers; reduce the multidimensional poverty rate by 0.93%/year; forest coverage rate reaches 58.36%; building a "strong and widespread" militia force; every year 90% of grassroots Party organizations achieve "Successful completion of tasks"; the annual rate of new Party members reaches 3%...

Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Ngoc Tuan praised the achievements and requested the Party Committee, government and people of Kbang commune to promote the highest spirit of solidarity, great efforts and determination; closely combine the promotion of socio-economic development with ensuring national defense and security. Take advantage of available opportunities and potentials such as central location, urban infrastructure, multi-ethnic cultural identity, favorable landscape and climate to develop community tourism, ecology and high-value industrial crops.

Kbang commune needs to focus on stabilizing the organization, perfecting a streamlined, effective and efficient political apparatus; implementing tasks in the spirit of "straight lines, clear paths, unanimous progress"; building a clean, strong, united and unified Party and political system.

It is necessary to concretize the Congress Resolution into a practical action plan and program; deploy 3 key programs and 4 breakthroughs right from the beginning of the term with the motto "6 clear" and the spirit of "High determination, great effort, drastic action, focused work".

In addition, pay attention to implementing social security work well, improve people's lives, strive to have no poor households at the end of the term; focus on developing education in ethnic minority areas, vocational training, job creation; preserve and promote traditional cultural values. Focus on strengthening national defense and security, maintaining political security, social order and safety.

Focus on innovating management thinking, building a creative government, digital government, digital society; promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, and improving the capacity of the staff. Promoting the supervisory and critical role of the People's Council, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; continuing to effectively implement the Provincial Party Committee's directives on changing the thinking and working methods of ethnic minorities and strengthening twinning between agencies, units and villages.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, Chairman, and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Kbang Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Kbang Commune Party Executive Committee consists of 19 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Thanh Dung was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.

Previously, delegates attending the 1st Congress of Kbang Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030, offered incense and flowers at the Commune Martyrs Cemetery; and also offered incense to commemorate martyrs at Ka Nak Martyrs Memorial Temple.
