Organizing an art program to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Vietnam Stage Day

(GLO)- On the evening of October 1, in Quy Nhon Nam ward, Gia Lai Theater Association coordinated with Gia Lai Traditional Arts Theater to organize an art program to celebrate Vietnam Theater Day (August 12th lunar calendar).

Attending the program were comrade Nguyen Huu Que - Member of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; representatives of some departments, branches, units of the province along with many artisans, actors and audiences.

The special performances by actors and artists include: Trinh Tuong dance; ancient Bai Choi singing; excerpt from the play "Truong Phi stabs Lu Bu's hair" (excerpt from the play "Tam anh chien Lu Bu" ); folk song Bai Choi "Vuon kau chau bien bien" ; excerpt from the play "Trung Vuong de co" .

The art program was organized to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Vietnam Stage Day. At the same time, the program was also an opportunity for those working in the field of stage arts to pay tribute to their ancestors and predecessors who created and developed traditional art forms.
