Long Hai Commune (HCMC) organizes the Festival "Civilized - Modern - Compassionate City"

On the afternoon of October 7, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Hai commune, Ho Chi Minh City organized the "Civilized - Modern - Compassionate City" Festival.

The event was held to welcome the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and socio -political organizations of Long Hai commune, term 2025 - 2030.

The festival "Civilized - Modern - Compassionate City" organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Hai commune with meaningful and practical activities contributed to spreading the spirit of sharing and community cohesion.

At the program, the Organizing Committee mobilized donors to donate 50 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND in cash to households in especially difficult circumstances; organized a "0 VND booth" to sell necessities such as rice, noodles, cooking oil, soy sauce, instant noodles, coffee, etc. at "0 VND" price to 200 households in difficult circumstances in the commune with a total cost of 80 million VND.

Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Hai commune and benefactors presented gifts to households in especially difficult circumstances.

Also at the Festival, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Hai commune launched the construction of the "Solidarity - Affection - Self-management" residential area in 2025 and the movement to build the "City of Colorful Flowers" project in the period of 2025 - 2030 in the commune.

The festival "Civilized - Modern - Compassionate City" is an occasion to express the spirit of mutual love and community solidarity; to demonstrate the determination of the Party Committee, government and people in the commune in building a civilized, modern, compassionate and sustainably developed locality.
