During the past term, along with economic development, the cultural and social fields in the province have had many positive changes, achieving important results, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Education and training are always considered the top national policy, so the province has focused on comprehensive innovation, improving the quality of teaching and learning. The rate of schools meeting national standards by 2025 will reach about 61%. Education in remote areas, remote areas, and ethnic minority areas is given attention and priority investment to gradually narrow the gap in learning conditions compared to more favorable areas.

People's health care is focused on, the grassroots health network continues to be strengthened and expanded. The whole province currently has nearly 80% of communes meeting national health standards. The rate of people participating in health insurance is increasing, contributing to ensuring social security and health care rights. In addition to the public health system, many large-scale private health facilities with modern equipment have been invested in, helping to reduce pressure and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for the people.

During the past term, the work of job creation, poverty reduction and social security has achieved many positive results. Vocational training and education programs have been expanded in scale, form and quality, linked to the needs of the labor market. Preferential loan support policies have helped many households to escape poverty.

The story of Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong's family in Hoa Thinh commune is a proof. From a poor household in the locality, when receiving preferential loan support of 50 million VND, her family invested in raising cows, creating a stable source of income for the family. "Raising cows here is very convenient because the food comes from the rice straw when harvested, in addition, the family also grows elephant grass so it does not cost anything," Ms. Huong said.

The policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses has been vigorously implemented, bringing about clear results. The whole province has supported the construction, repair and handover of 8,915 houses to poor and near-poor households, policy families, and people with meritorious services to the revolution, achieving 100% of the plan.

As a special locality, the province always focuses on implementing policies for ethnic minorities in a timely and appropriate manner, focusing on the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the period 2021 - 2030. In addition to investing in infrastructure, creating sustainable livelihoods for people is also one of the highlights of the program. By the end of 2025, the poverty rate in the whole province will decrease to about 2.08%, and in ethnic minority areas it will be 10.06%.

One of the outstanding marks during the term is the work of preserving, maintaining and promoting the value of cultural and historical heritage. The art of Bài Chòi, the Ô Loan lagoon boat racing festival, the Cầu Ngư festival… have been restored and held annually, becoming unique cultural beauties.

Community tourism is also a bright spot in socio-cultural development. In many villages such as Ako Dhông (Buôn Ma Thuột ward), Jun village, Lê village (Liên Sơn Lắk commune), Kuốp village (Ea Na commune)…, tangible and intangible cultural values ​​are preserved, restored and effectively exploited, associated with the development of tourism services.

Many large-scale festivals and cultural and tourism events have been successfully organized, leaving a strong impression on community life, contributing to promoting the image and attracting tourists. Literary and artistic creative activities are increasingly vibrant, many valuable works have been created, reflecting the real and vivid life of society.

The achievements in the cultural and social fields in the past term have contributed to strengthening people's confidence, arousing aspirations and creating solidarity in the whole province. This is the driving force for Dak Lak to continue to promote its potential and advantages, build a culture rich in identity, a harmoniously developed society, and aim for rapid and sustainable development in the coming years.
