Martyr Nguyen Van Nhuan was born in 1951 in Trinh Trai village, former Thuy Luong commune, now Bao Trinh residential group, Thai Thuy commune. In 1970, following the sacred call of the Fatherland, comrade Nhuan volunteered to join the army and fight at unit C104 - KP, Gia Lai province. During the fierce days of the resistance war against American imperialism to save the country, he fought steadfastly and heroically sacrificed on August 22, 1971, when he was just 20 years old. The comrade's body was buried and cared for at Duc Co Martyrs' Cemetery, Duc Co Commune, Gia Lai Province.
After 55 years of separation, according to the family's wishes, on September 28, 2025, remains of martyr Nguyen Van Nhuan was buried in the cemetery. Martyr Diem Dien (Thai Thuy commune).
In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Thuy commune, together with a large number of cadres and people, respectfully offered incense and expressed deep gratitude for the noble sacrifice of martyr Nguyen Van Nhuan for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
