Thang Dien Commune received nearly 30 million VND to support the Cuban people and people in flood-affected areas.

DNO - On the afternoon of October 14, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thang Dien commune launched a campaign for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the commune to support people in the northern provinces affected by storms and floods and the Cuban people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba.

At the program, the Commune Fatherland Front Committee read the appeal letter of the Vietnam Red Cross Society , emphasizing that every contribution, no matter how small, demonstrates the noble gesture and loyal affection of the Vietnamese people towards the brotherly Cuban people.

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, cadres, civil servants, public employees of agencies, units and schools in the commune directly supported the program, with a total amount of nearly 30 million VND; of which, nearly 17 million VND was sent to people in provinces affected by storms and floods and more than 12 million VND was donated to the people of Cuba.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thang Dien commune said it will continue to mobilize cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people in the whole commune to support and donate until mid-November 2025.
