In the past term, the Association of War Veterans of Vu Tien commune regularly took care of political and ideological education for cadres and members; advised the Party Committee and the government to implement policies and measures to remove difficulties, resolve legitimate and legal aspirations of the people and members of the Association of War Veterans, contributing to maintaining political stability and social order and safety in the locality; at the same time, focused on propaganda and mobilizing members to raise awareness of self-reliance, self-reliance, helping each other develop the economy, improve their lives and carry out charitable activities well. The Association of War Veterans of the commune has guaranteed loans with banks and people's credit funds for members with a total amount of more than 12 billion VND for economic development. Currently, the commune has 96.5% of the families of War Veterans with a good standard of living or higher. In the past 5 years, the Association of War Veterans of the commune has organized visits and given gifts to 85 families of members in difficult circumstances with a total cost of more than 150 million VND; Gave 4 savings books (5 million VND/book) to 4 families in difficult circumstances.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Association of War Veterans in Vu Tien commune continues to focus on innovating the content and methods of operation in the direction of closely following the grassroots; continuing to encourage War Veterans' members to uphold the spirit of patriotism, self-reliance, self-improvement, helping each other to do business , improving material and spiritual life; actively participating in socio-economic development, strengthening national defense - security and movements launched by all levels, sectors and localities; striving to have 100% of War Veterans' Association branches complete their tasks every year; 100% of members are exemplary; over 95% of War Veterans' Association members' families achieve the title of "Cultural Family".

The Congress announced the decisions to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Inspection Committee of the Veterans Association of Vu Tien commune for the 2025-2030 term; and to appoint delegates to attend the congress at a higher level.
