Truck falls into hole more than 1 meter deep in Hanoi

The truck was moving on the road in an urban area in Hanoi when suddenly the rear wheel fell into a deep hole and could not move.

Initial information, at around 12:40 noon on October 9, a truck with license plate number 29E-407.XX driven by Nguyen Tien D. was traveling in Nam Cuong Urban Area (Nghia Do Ward, Hanoi ) when it suddenly fell into a hole more than 1 meter deep.

At the scene, the hole about 3m wide "swallowed" the right wheel of the truck.

According to driver D., the vehicle was carrying a small amount of goods at the time of the accident, but it was not significant, and the road surface did not show any signs of abnormality, so when the subsidence occurred, the vehicle fell into a deep hole. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The truck's right rear wheel was in the hole.

Upon receiving the news, Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) sent officers to the scene to resolve the incident. Along with that, a tow truck was also dispatched to “rescue” the crashed truck.

Currently, authorities are investigating and clarifying the cause of the incident.
