Sharing about specific activities, Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union, said that the Youth Fest with the theme "Pride of Vietnamese Youth" will take place from October 10 to 12 in Hanoi with many meaningful and practical activities.

Specifically, the Exchange program between individuals who won the "October 15" Award and the Central-level "Beautiful Youth" Award with the Capital's Association officials took place on the evening of October 10 at the Hanoi Youth Palace. Here, the "Beautiful Youth" examples in 2025, Association officials who won the "October 15" Award will share their journey of training, striving and practical lessons in the work of building the Association, youth movements and in community and social activities, in order to inspire the spirit of beautiful and useful living, to replicate advanced examples, to promote the social responsibility of the Capital's youth and youth nationwide in the new period.
Notably, on October 11, the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's Traditional Day and the awarding of the "October 15" Award will take place at Hoan Kiem Lake. At the program, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union will award the "October 15" Award in 2025 to 69 outstanding Youth Union officials from all over the country. These are individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement, demonstrating a sense of responsibility, creativity, and dedication to the community.
Immediately after the celebration, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union organized the program "Each youth has a book as a friend" to raise awareness among members and youth about the importance of developing a reading culture.
In addition, on the evening of October 11, the Gala "Youth Live Beautifully" 2025 will take place to honor 20 outstanding young faces who have performed beautiful actions, humane gestures and made positive contributions to society, strongly spreading the spirit of living beautifully and usefully in the Vietnamese youth community.
Among the 20 "Beautiful Youth" examples honored are 3 police officers.
That is, Senior Lieutenant Khuat Viet Anh, an officer of the Foreign Affairs Department, Ministry of Public Security , volunteered to take on the task of strengthening work in the former Quang Nham commune (now A Luoi 2 commune, Hue City). This is an especially difficult area, where more than 90% of the population are Pa Co ethnic people, located along the border with Laos. In that difficult land, he has persistently contributed to bring the light of knowledge, faith and change to the people.
Not only is he a young officer dedicated to maintaining security and order, Senior Lieutenant Khuat Viet Anh is also a teacher in green, an inspiration, a companion of young people, leaving a deep impression on a generation of young people living beautifully and contributing. One of his outstanding marks is that he initiated and directly taught the model of "Free English and Soft Skills Training Class" for students of Quang Trung Secondary School.
Not stopping there, he also mobilized social resources to deploy many social security models closely related to people's lives. The model "Light up your footsteps" has brought electricity to the village with more than 50 solar-powered lampposts installed on inter-village roads, both ensuring traffic safety and lighting up the belief in a brighter life. Along with that, the model "Security Camera" was installed by him at key points in the area, contributing to improving the effectiveness of crime prevention and fighting, maintaining peace at the border...

Another example of "Young people living beautifully" is Sergeant Giang A Thang working at Hospital 7/5, Dien Bien Provincial Police. Despite suffering from end-stage kidney failure, Sergeant Giang A Thang still does not succumb to difficulties, but instead contributes to life with noble deeds, kindness and responsibility to the community.
Sergeant Giang A Thang founded and maintained the model “Bundle of Loving Chopsticks” to help dialysis patients in the dialysis village in Dien Bien earn a living. Each month, this model consumes 6,000 - 7,000 pairs of bamboo chopsticks, bringing in revenue of about 15 - 16 million VND. Thanks to that, dozens of poor patients can participate in production, earning an additional income of 500,000 - 600,000 VND/month to cover the cost of medicine, accommodation and daily living.
The most valuable thing that Sergeant Giang A Thang brings to poor patients is not only income, but also faith, self-respect and will to live. He helps them understand that, even though they are fighting with illness, they can still work, contribute and be respected by society. From there, "Bundle of Loving Chopsticks" is not only a small economic model, but also a place to connect hearts, lighting up faith in life.
Also receiving the "Beautiful Youth" award is Senior Lieutenant Ho Ngoc Thien Thu, an officer of Buon Ma Thuot Ward Police (Dak Lak) with a series of technological initiatives serving the people. He is an example of beautiful living in volunteer work, spreading the spirit of responsibility and compassion to the community.
The female soldier has advised on building and maintaining the Zalo model "Connecting social networks - Peace for every family", becoming an effective channel of interaction between the police force and the people, contributing to the prevention and fight against crimes and social evils. Not stopping there, she also developed the initiative "A set of videos guiding the process of submitting online public service applications in Vietnamese and Ede", helping people, especially ethnic minorities, to easily access administrative procedures.
Senior Lieutenant Ho Ngoc Thien Thu actively participates in charity activities, spreading the spirit of charity. The model "Adopted Children of Commune Police" that she advised on building has directly adopted two children with especially difficult circumstances. She also coordinates with mass organizations to give gifts to dialysis patients, poor children and many disadvantaged households in the area.
According to the Organizing Committee, right after the Gala "Beautiful Youth" will take place the International Folk Dance and Cheerleading Festival 2025. At the Festival, clubs, teams, and groups of students in Hanoi will perform excellent folk dance and cheerleading performances that have passed the qualifying round.
Notably, in the series of activities, there will be a Happy Young Family Festival and the "Outstanding Young Family" Commendation Ceremony in 2025 on October 12.
In addition, the Band, Singing and Cheerleading Festival with the theme "Aspiration to Rise" took place on October 13 at Hoan Kiem Lake with the participation of bands, singing groups and cheerleading teams of young people and students in Hanoi to show their talent, youth and passion for art.
