The success of the A80 series of activities not only affirms political responsibility but also demonstrates the proactive spirit, smooth coordination and service culture of the Capital.

Responsibility and dedication of the Capital

The success of the A80 event was built on the foundation of early and systematic preparation. Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Thu Ha affirmed that the early direction of the Central Steering Committee, along with specific guidance from the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, created a favorable basis for Hanoi to develop a thoughtful plan.

Since the end of 2024, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee met and issued a directive, in which the Secretary of the Party Committee clearly directed: Hanoi must not only act with the highest responsibility, but must also act with all the enthusiasm and affection of the Party Committee, government and people of the Capital.

In early 2025, Hanoi proactively proposed a master plan, clearly identifying 16 central-level tasks and 28 tasks to be implemented by the city. This initiative is also demonstrated through early consultation on plans to organize the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march. To ensure scientific and effective, the tasks have been carefully reviewed and responsibilities clearly assigned.

In particular, the organization of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march was carried out systematically with the establishment of the City Organizing Committee headed by the Chairman of the City People's Committee, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee as the Standing Deputy Head, and 6 specialized sub-committees. According to Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Thu Ha, the greatest efficiency comes from the continuous experience-sharing conferences after each stage of implementation, from joint training, preliminary review to final rehearsal. This helps all plans to be adjusted and completed promptly according to the direction of the Central leaders.

Spreading the mark and spirit of community service

From the practical experience of organizing the event, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Thu Ha has drawn out 4 main contents that created the success and special mark of the A80 event. In particular, innovating propaganda work and applying technology: In addition to traditional forms of propaganda, Hanoi has built and effectively operated the electronic information portal and application A80 Proud of Vietnam.

This application has outstanding features, providing personalized experiences, smart interactions through chatbots, helping people and tourists easily receive suggestions and instructions about events and essential services. App A80 quickly reached the top 1 most downloaded application on the App Store, proving the effectiveness of applying technology in political event communication.

Along with that, the city has prepared to install large-scale grandstands, serving nearly 30,000 delegates, along with more than 60,000 essential items. A network of 160 LED screens and 665 loudspeakers have been installed widely to serve people in residential areas and streets. In particular, Hanoi has renovated and renovated over 100 streets with nearly 80km of roads, meeting the requirements of gathering, parades and marches. Medical work is also absolutely safe, medical forces have supported more than 1,000 cases. The city has organized special art programs in the central area and many other programs to serve people in remote areas, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the city.

The reception of delegates was carried out in detail, in coordination with other provinces and cities. More than 11,000 volunteers were arranged to support priority groups such as officials, meritorious people, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers. Electric cars were arranged to pick up and drop off elderly delegates and veterans. In particular, 73 educational establishments, cultural houses and offices were used as resting places, providing free drinking water. More than 8,000 priority seats were arranged along the routes for veterans and the elderly to watch the parade.

A profound humanistic highlight is the volunteer spirit of the people of the Capital. Many households and shops along the parade route voluntarily opened their doors, inviting people to take shelter from the rain and sun, and serving free drinks, fans and food. This community spirit has contributed to multiplying the beautiful image of the Capital.

The success of A80 has spread a beautiful image and left a special mark in the hearts of people across the country and international friends. From this result, Hanoi has drawn 5 core lessons, in which the most prominent are close and effective coordination and quick resolution of arising situations.

Notably, the city has thoroughly applied the principle of "one task, one focal point" throughout. The agencies and units assigned to preside over the event are all assigned and assigned clear tasks, regularly reviewed and promptly adjusted plans, ensuring the highest synchronization and discipline in performing tasks. This is an important lesson in managing major events that needs to be replicated in the upcoming political and cultural activities of the capital.
