Impersonators of Vietnam Television appear to search for young talents

Recently, VTV Times has received letters from many viewers, reflecting information about the appearance of subjects taking advantage of the name and impersonating VTV to recruit students for a contest called KunMarathon Kid 2024. The images and information provided by these subjects are very sophisticated, making many viewers and parents easily believe and be deceived. This illegal act not only causes damage to the audience but also damages the reputation of VTV.

Specifically, the subjects provided parents with a fake commitment document, in which the content mentioned a contest in collaboration between VTV and a private production unit, taking place from June 15 to December 25, 2024. The program is for children aged 3 to 16. Candidates must complete a survey, support the product advertising program according to instructions and charge a fee.

A representative of VTV Times, VTV Station affirmed that the unit "Does not organize any child talent search contest". In addition, the entertainment and art programs produced by VTV Station do not require the audience to pay any fees when registering to participate.

Information about recruitment and invitations to participate is really a danger not only to parents' wallets and the spirit of children but also to the reputation of the program in particular and VTV in general.
