Insulting the reputation of the People's Committee of a commune in Quang Ngai, a woman was fined.

On September 28, Quang Ngai Provincial Police announced that Duc Pho Town Police had just decided to administratively sanction Ms. TTTH (43 years old, residing in Phuoc Loi village, Pho Nhon commune) for the act of "Providing and sharing fake information, false information, distorting, slandering, and insulting the reputation of agencies, organizations, honor and dignity of individuals".

Previously, on August 29, through monitoring the situation on cyberspace, Pho Nhon Commune Police discovered that Ms. H. used her Facebook account to post videos with content that insulted the reputation of Pho Nhon Commune People's Committee.

Through working with the police, Ms. H. admitted her wrongdoings, then proactively removed the posted video content and pledged not to repeat the offense.

For the above violation, Ms. H. was fined 5 million VND by the authorities.
