The flood also caused severe damage to 4 schools in Thanh Tin, Tan Tien, Hoang Su Phi, Vi Xuyen communes; landslides occurred at 14 points on traffic routes from Thanh Tin, Mau Due communes to Ngoc Long, Nam Dich, Yen Hoa... In addition, dozens of hectares of rice, crops, and fruit trees were buried, flooded, and damaged.

Immediately after the natural disaster occurred, the People's Committees of the communes directed and assigned responsible officials to go to the grassroots to grasp the situation and direct the villages to count the damage; mobilize and use local forces to temporarily repair roads to ensure transportation, repair damaged roofs, clean up landslides of households... to ensure stable life and production of the people.
