30 Indian companies simultaneously "landed" in Da Nang to find wedding venues for the super-rich.

(NLDO) - Da Nang welcomes a delegation of 30 Indian wedding organizers to survey and expand opportunities to turn the city into an international wedding destination.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City said that the city's tourism industry is organizing a famtrip to welcome a group of 30 leading Indian wedding planning companies to survey and learn about destinations and service infrastructure for wedding tourism.

As soon as they landed at Da Nang International Airport, the delegation was greeted with flowers by representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism . Famtrip delegation of 30 leading Indian wedding planning companies to Da Nang

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City Tan Van Vuong said that in the first 9 months of 2025, the city welcomed more than 14.4 million visitors , an increase of 22% over the same period; of which international visitors reached 5.8 million , an increase of more than 31%.

" The Indian market currently ranks third among international markets to Da Nang, doubling compared to 2024. Many Indian tourists have come to know Da Nang as a new "wedding paradise" in Asia," Mr. Vuong shared.

The Indian billionaire's wedding was held at the Sheraton Grand Da Nang Resort and Convention Center.

Da Nang is the first locality in Vietnam to pilot a program to attract wedding tourists , with many special support policies such as welcoming displays on LED screens at the airport, traditional art performances, giving souvenirs to the bride and groom, along with attractive incentives such as flycam packages, honeymoon room nights or experiential cyclo tours.

Mr. Murad Enver , Sales & Marketing Director of Inventum Global, assessed that Da Nang is emerging as one of the top wedding destinations in Southeast Asia , thanks to its infrastructure system, international standard resorts and beautiful natural landscape.

Da Nang is considered the top wedding destination in Southeast Asia.

“Da Nang’s beachfront hotels are the perfect setting for typical Indian wedding ceremonies such as Mehndi, Sangeet or Baraat. The exquisite Indian cuisine is also served, making guests feel right at home,” he said.

Representative of the famtrip delegation, Mr. Pradeep Chauhan, said that the hotels are very flexible in meeting the needs of Indian culture, from cuisine to traditional rituals. Mr. Pradeep Chauhan expressed his belief that Da Nang will soon become one of the most attractive wedding destinations for Indian tourists.
