30 artists from across Vietnam participated in an unforgettable experience in their creative journey.
Within the framework of the second Son Tra Flower Festival in 2024, the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Muong La district organized the opening of a painting creation camp with the romantic name "Lost in the Son Tra forest".
From an altitude of 2,500m above sea level, the works inspired by the indigenous cultural identity of the Black Mong people of Nam Nghiep and the fairy-tale hawthorn forest landscape have truly left a strong impression on both artists and visitors.

Artists from three regions were truly immersed in the wandering emotions of the Northwest mountains and forests, with the unique space of the Mong villages, and with the daily cultural activities of the highland people.
The event takes place from March 3 to 7, 2024, at Nam Nghiep village, Ngoc Chien commune, Muong La, Son La .
At the end of the creative camp, the artists displayed 57 works and enriched the atmosphere of the 2024 hawthorn flower festival.

Artist Ngo Thanh Nhan, member of the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Fine Arts Association, Head of the Painting Branch 2, Vietnam Fine Arts Association, a member of the Creative Camp, said: This is a reunion of professional artists from many localities.
The creative camp has achieved very impressive results, creating a unique artistic appearance for the highland village of Nam Nghiep. Hopefully, this activity will contribute to promoting this very beautiful and peaceful land.

Mr. Phung Manh Hiep, Chairman of Muong La District People's Committee, shared that the successful Nam Nghiep Fine Arts Creation Camp event showed the love of artists for the land and people here.
Mr. Hiep also expressed his hope that the Nam Nghiep Creative Camp event will be held annually, becoming a unique cultural and tourism symbol of Muong La.
