Presenting the draft agenda of the Session, Secretary General of the "Children's National Assembly" Tran Minh Dang announced: The second mock session of the "Children's National Assembly" in 2024 will take place in 1.5 days, starting from the morning of September 28 and ending on the morning of September 29, 2024. The opening ceremony took place on September 28. In the afternoon of the same day, the "Children's National Assembly" conducted discussions in 12 groups. On the morning of September 29, young delegates will participate in a question and answer session, focusing on two important topics: "Prevention and control of school violence" and "Prevention and control of the harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants, especially in the school environment".

In his opening speech, Chairman of the "Children's National Assembly" Le Gia Vinh shared that the 2nd Children's National Assembly session in 2024 took place amid the bustling atmosphere of the back-to-school season, when children across the country eagerly welcomed the new school year 2024-2025. This session has a special meaning, clearly demonstrating the sense of responsibility of all levels and sectors in protecting, caring for and educating the young generation - the future owners of the country.

The meeting lasted for 1.5 days, focusing on three important groups of contents such as: Reviewing and discussing the Government 's report on the assessment and supplement of the implementation results of the programs "Prevention and control of school violence" and "Prevention and control of harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants, especially in the school environment"; at the same time, proposing directions for implementation in the coming time.

The "Children's National Assembly" will listen to a report summarizing opinions and recommendations from "child voters" and the people sent to the second session of the "Children's National Assembly". Along with that, the "Children's National Assembly" will consider a report on the results of monitoring the settlement of recommendations from "child voters" from the first session.

In addition, the "Children's National Assembly" will conduct a question-and-answer session on two key issues: "Prevention and control of school violence" and "Prevention and control of the harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants, especially in the school environment". At the same time, the "Children's National Assembly" will also discuss the draft Resolution related to the question-and-answer activities at the second session in 2024.

Chairman of the "Children's National Assembly" Le Gia Vinh emphasized that in a short time, the Children's National Assembly will consider many contents with a relatively large amount of work.
