Phan Bao Ngoc - Delegate of Hanoi City attended the mock session of "Children's National Assembly"

The second mock session of the "Children's Parliament " in 2024 will take place for 1.5 days, starting on the morning of September 28 and ending on the morning of September 29, 2024, and focusing on two topics: "Prevention and control of school violence" and "Prevention and control of the harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants, especially in the school environment".

Phan Bao Ngoc - "The youngest young parliamentarian" - Delegate of Hanoi City shared: I feel very honored and proud to receive the trust of local children, the leaders and to be selected by the Organizing Committee to become one of 306 "young parliamentarians" - who are typical team members of the whole country, representing more than 25 million children and teenagers across the country to become official delegates to participate in the second "Children's National Assembly" mock session - 2024.

Bao Ngoc also said: "Before participating in the mock session, I attended training sessions, group discussions, was equipped with skills in teamwork, synthesizing and presenting opinions and a lot of useful knowledge about the National Assembly - the highest State power agency. In the group discussion session, I will submit my recommendations related to the two topics of the session.

At the end of her speech at the discussion session of group 2, Bao Ngoc thanked the Organizing Committee for allowing the children to present their opinions and wishes, to exercise the Rights and Duties of Children according to the Law on Children and the United Nations Convention on Children, and hoped that her opinions would be heard by the National Assembly at the plenary session on the morning of September 29, 2024.

Sharing about her journey to becoming a delegate of the children's parliament mock session, Bao Ngoc said: "In addition to participating in singing, acting, being a child model, and a bilingual child MC, Bao Ngoc also achieved excellent academic results for 5 consecutive years, and was honored on the Golden Board for 3 years with a number of achievements in domestic and international competitions. Bao Ngoc was awarded the Young Leader Award at the World Diplomatic Forum, Outstanding Young Artist of Asia in the award ceremony: Vietnam International Achievers Award 2023 or Children's Face of the Year 2023 by Vietnam Children's Magazine in collaboration with the Department of Children, Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights".

Bao Ngoc is one of the child MCs of many programs for children as well as some events.
