5 units signed a competition agreement towards the 80th anniversary of the transport industry

On November 7, Emulation Block 7, consisting of 5 units, signed the 2024 Emulation Covenant with the theme "Successfully completing assigned tasks towards the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the Transport industry".

This afternoon (November 7), at the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development, Emulation Bloc No. 7 including units: Giao thong Newspaper, Institute of Transport Strategy and Development, Institute of Transport Science and Technology, Transport Magazine, Information Technology Center held a conference to launch emulation and sign the 2024 Emulation Covenant of the Bloc.

Emulation Block No. 7 is headed by Comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Nga, Editor-in-Chief of Giao Thong Newspaper.

The conference was held to respond to and implement emulation movements launched by the Emulation and Reward Council of the Ministry of Transport towards the 80th anniversary of the Transport Industry's Tradition Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025).

Thereby, strengthening solidarity, exchanging and learning experiences among members of the Bloc and between emulation Blocs in the Ministry; Innovating and promoting emulation movements; arousing the spirit of creative work, overcoming difficulties, motivating and encouraging the spirit of all officials and employees of the units of Emulation Bloc 7.

At the conference, units in the Emulation Bloc agreed to sign the emulation covenant for 2024.

Units in the bloc, based on their functions and tasks, compete and implement the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, organize the study, dissemination and implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies.

In particular, well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; Directive No. 34-CT/TW dated April 7, 2014 of the Politburo on continuing to innovate emulation and reward work; Directive No. 05-CT-TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on "Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".

Along with that is Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the 12th Politburo "On promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; Building a clean and strong Party base; Organizing the implementation of the Law on Anti-Corruption, the Law on Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness effectively; Well implementing the grassroots democracy regulations.

Representatives of agencies in emulation bloc 7 signed the emulation covenant for 2024.

Regarding emulation and commendation work, the units also set out the focus of implementing emulation and commendation work to ensure compliance with the provisions of the 2022 Law on Emulation and Commendation, Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation and Decrees and Circulars related to emulation and commendation work; Deploying and completing 100% of the contents and tasks in the Program, Plan, Regulations and activities of the Emulation Council of the Ministry of Transport and the Program, Plan, Regulations on the organization and operation of the Emulation Bloc.

Emulation Block No. 7 will also continue to actively respond to emulation movements launched by the Ministry of Transport; Carry out propaganda work, replicate advanced models, typical examples, and examples of "Good people, good deeds"

At the conference, the units in Emulation Block 7 also unanimously elected comrade Khuat Viet Hung - Director of the Institute of Transport Strategy and Development as Deputy Head of Emulation Block 7/2024.
