85 works participated in the 7th Binh Thuan Provincial Party Building Journalism Award

BTO - On the morning of October 16, the Work Selection Council held its first meeting, preparing for the selection of works for the 7th Journalism Award on Party Building (Red Flag Award) - 2023.

Chairing the meeting, comrade Vo Thanh Binh - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Council; also attending were Vice Chairmen of the Council, members and Secretariat of the contest.

After 9 months of launching the contest, the Organizing Committee of the 7th Red Flag Contest has received 85 entries (80 professional, 5 amateur) from agencies and units inside and outside the province to participate in the contest. In general, the entries this year ensure compliance with the contest rules.

+ Professional award: 80 works with 5 categories including: 22 Paper Newspaper works; 20 Electronic Newspaper works; 18 Television works; 17 Radio works; Photo reportage: 3 works.

+ Amateur entries are divided into 2 categories with 5 works, including: Newsletters, information collections: 3 works; Information portals, Electronic information pages: 2 works.

Other types of Amateur Tournaments have no participants.

This year, there are 4 permanent agencies participating in the Award including: Today's Rural Newspaper; Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper; Justice Newspaper and Elderly Magazine. Notably, this year there is Can Tho University. Thus, there are 3 units sending the most works to the Award: Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station (21 works); Binh Thuan Newspaper (26 works) and Provincial Police (6 works).

In general, the works are on time and in accordance with the rules of the Award.
