Designer Tuan Hai, the creator of the costume, said: "When I accepted the request to design the national costume for Nguyen Thien Kha, I spent many nights thinking and learning about the competition criteria. From there, I came up with the idea to find something unique and different from previous competitions.

To create a national costume, carrying a purely Vietnamese symbol for Nguyen Thien Kha, I also consulted historical knowledge from the Hung King era to create a fashion work that is artistic, but still promotes Vietnamese culture.
