According to Gaming Bolt , Assassin's Creed Mirage has officially launched for console and PC platforms. While the new game still offers the same beautiful experience and brain-tense focus as the previous games, Ubisoft has also received some criticism for the PC version.
Assassin's Creed Mirage just released and has encountered a 'limit'
Specifically, the game has added support for Denuvo DRM, a digital rights management and anti-counterfeiting system developed by the Austrian company Denuvo Software Solutions GmbH. This system has previously caused controversy for often negatively affecting the performance of games.
The addition was spotted on Twitter by @TDeckverse (via VGC). The fact that the infamous system was released alongside the Day One Patch, shortly after Assassin's Creed Mirage received online reviews, has caused some surprise for fans.
In Gaming Bolt's review of Assassin's Creed Mirage , the game received a score of 8/10, with the review saying that the game offers a look back at the series' past while also providing a powerful, mind-bending new experience, just as the developer promised.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is billed as a 'love letter' to the original Assassin's Creed game, with gameplay focusing on parkour, stealth, and assassination, marking a return to the action-adventure style of games released before the series' RPG-style games like Origins, Odyssey , and Valhalla .
Assassin's Creed Mirage is available now on platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
