Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen was appointed Secretary of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee.

Kinhtedothi - The Politburo approved Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen to hold the position of Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term after nearly two years as acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

On March 22, in Ben Tre province, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, and the Central working delegation deployed the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, announced the Politburo 's Decision on personnel work.

Accordingly, the Politburo decided to approve Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen, Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Ben Tre province, to hold the position of Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen - Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee expressed his joy and honor when the Politburo decided to appoint Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen to the position of Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee. This is not only a personal honor for Ms. Hoang Yen but also for the Party Committee and people of Ben Tre, demonstrating the Central Committee's recognition and trust in Ben Tre's great contributions to the revolutionary cause.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nen believes that the preparation and determination of Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen in assuming the position of Secretary of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, together with the solidarity and support of the Party Committee, government and people of Ben Tre, will contribute to the excellent completion of assigned tasks.

In her acceptance speech, Secretary of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee Ho Thi Hoang expressed her deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Central Organizing Committee, the Central Party Committees, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, cadres, party members and people of Ben Tre province for their trust and support in the past time.

Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen said that after more than a year holding the position of Acting Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, she and the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee have united, unified, joined forces to lead, direct and organize the implementation of the Provincial Party Committee's Resolution, achieving many important results.

At the same time, he promised to continue promoting the achieved results, promoting the heroic uprising tradition of the Ben Tre Party Committee, constantly studying, practicing, cultivating moral qualities, being proactive, closely following the grassroots, respecting and listening to the opinions of cadres, party members and people.

 

Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen, 52 years old, from Son Dong commune, Ben Tre city, is a bachelor of Economics. She has held the following positions: Head of Department, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre City Party Committee; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council. At the end of 2023, Ms. Yen held the position of Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee until now.
