Bac Ninh: Admitting 300 foreign workers into the trade union organization

BAC NINH - The Trade Union of New Wing Interconnect Technology Limited Liability Company, Van Trung Industrial Park (Bac Ninh) has just held a ceremony to admit new union members.

Of the total of more than 2,100 union members participating in the union organization on this occasion, 300 workers are foreigners. This is the first time the grassroots union has admitted foreign union members, following the instructions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor .

Admitting foreign union members not only demonstrates solidarity and cohesion between domestic and foreign workers, but also affirms the spirit of equality, respect and integration of the Vietnam Trade Union.

Representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor and grassroots unions presented admission decisions to new foreign union members.

According to the representative of the Provincial Labor Federation, the result of this union member development of New Wing Interconnect Technology Limited Company is not only a clear demonstration of the growth of the grassroots union but also a bright spot in expanding the admission target, strengthening the great solidarity of the union of Bac Ninh province and the whole country. This demonstrates the pioneering, integration and international spirit of the Vietnamese working class.

It is known that the Trade Union of New Wing Interconnect Technology Limited Company was established in 2016 (right after the enterprise started operating). Currently, the Company's Trade Union has a total of more than 28,400 active members, reaching 100% of employees joining the grassroots trade union.
