Mobilized capital and outstanding credit increased

BAC NINH - Over the past 9 months, the operations of the commercial banking system in Bac Ninh province have recorded positive results. In particular, total mobilized capital and outstanding credit both achieved high growth rates compared to the end of 2024.

As of September 30, the total mobilized capital of commercial banks in the province is estimated at 386.3 trillion VND, an increase of 11.54% compared to December 31, 2024. The main reason for the increase is that banks have actively innovated capital mobilization, improved service quality and increased propaganda, thereby maximizing the exploitation of idle capital in the population.

Outstanding loans of credit institutions in the first 9 months increased by 20.34% compared to December 31, 2024, with priority given to small and medium-sized enterprises.

Along with that, credit expansion is also focused on by banks, directing capital flows to production and business sectors, creating momentum for economic sectors. In particular, priority is given to lending for agricultural, farmer and rural development; lending to small and medium enterprises and start-ups. It is estimated that as of September 30, outstanding loans of credit institutions in the province reached 371 trillion VND, an increase of 20.34% compared to December 31, 2024. This increase shows the efforts of the banking sector in bringing capital closer to people and businesses, promoting production and business in the area.

Payment activities, especially non-cash payments, have also developed strongly and in depth. Commercial banks have deployed a variety of modern and convenient products and services such as QR codes, contactless payments, Internet banking, Mobile banking, along with the integration of payments for public services, electricity and water. In the first 9 months of the year, the total payment turnover through banks is estimated at 13.8 million billion VND, of which the proportion of non-cash payments accounts for 83% of total turnover.

The results achieved in the past 9 months have affirmed the positive role of the Bac Ninh banking system in stabilizing the monetary market, providing timely capital for the economy, and making an important contribution to the sustainable development of the province.
